Bemused Rumination
`
Forget
the balm of barometric exuberance.
This night
no longer young, dissipates.
Recall
the dewy welcome of sun-quaffed green.
Yesterdays
revive severed umbilical dreams.
Peruse
the present with fleeting acumen.
Today
ceases yet emerges again tomorrow.
Ignite
the kindling of autumnal reticence.
Perhaps
genial kindnesses shall spring.

Carpathian
You think that you,
form clouds from fog
and paint the forests green.
You think me lost,
inside your song
as unformed harmonics
drown, within my throat
and reeds split
upon my tongue.
But you are wrong
and still I sing,
and though you say,
my life, is but a whisper
in the age of mountains,
I am here.
I am here.

There is no god
There is no god,
But One,
One Sea,
One Rock,
One Land,
One Tree
One Sun,
There is no god
But we
Are
One.
