Cheers Mart for the comments on 'Elliot'. Daniel is showing his admiration for my impersonation of Biggy Smalls.

Glad you liked my 2CV poem. After we had left France a friend sold it to a farmer for virtually nothing. It probably ended up as a hen shed.

(re Sorry bone) Thanks Martin, High Praise; I blush?
The words were poured out and while upon reflection I thought it a tad confusing, I then recalled that that is the case with most of my verse.
The photo' was taken by myself. It is of the interior of Liverpool's Tate Gallery. The silhouette is of an unknown (to me ) woman.

Cheers

I haven't been to Wigan for a while - other stuff has seemed to clash every month (mainly rugby and my own gigs) but I am the guest at WOL Sale this coming Tuesday and will be doing a couple of sets of my poems set to music if you're about

Thanks for commenting "Clever Love". I hadn't really thought of this one as a speak-aloud piece, as it was an exercise in rhyming form (and theme). But maybe I could try it!

Really appreciate your thoughtful comments as always!

Thanks for your comments on Jazz Martin, I'm a huge fan of jazz and used to play in a jazz band through my teens and early twenties. This particular piece was about a performance I saw by a group at our local conservatorium. The group was young but inspired, and the singer captivating. A moment that warranted capturing. ?
