There's not much which evokes fond memories of past childhood better than railways.
What will evoke such memories of today's kids I wonder - plane travel? i-pods? alco-pops? Don't seem to have the same pull, do they?

It is such an evocative smell. One came through our station the main line the other day and sent me right back to childhood.
