My wife got the idea

to de-clutter the place

unfortunately

I was the first thing to go

 

said I had not been used

for anything for years

 

and was just taking up space

collecting dust

 

said no one really knew

my original purpose

and that I did not fit the decor

 

so out I went

along with old newspapers

and old clothes

and assorted knickknacks and

souvenirs and all the smelly stuff

buried in the back of the closet

 

now deemed Unessential

I am in the garage

waiting for the upcoming garage sale

where I will be sold off

with all the other clutter

pennies on the dollar

 

a bargain for anyone who collects

old worthless stuff.
