Decision Making

Each and every day involves decisions,
And in much wondering what to do,
You may see the consequences,
Whether it be on me or upon you?

We may consider what job to have,
And think: Which should I select?
Shall I go for this or go for that?
And: What shall then be the effect?

We may just mull over what to eat,
Or what we feel like drinking.
Or it may be an important matter,
Which requires a deal of thinking.

Perhaps you wish to play a game,
And whichever you may choose,
Does it really matter much,
Whether you win or you lose?

What should be our view of life?
Should it be grim or be hearty?
And when we think about politics,
Should we support which party?

We may know not the right choices,
Till a long while after we have made them
Or on what to spend our pounds and pennies
Till long after we have paid them.

But should you make a bad decision
You need not complain.
As you can go back to the beginning
And start from there again.
