Interpretation: This card indicates a water journey, a Rite of passage to a higher state of consciousness, a spiritual awakening. A time of difficulties is over and the seeker is leaving them behind for a safe refuge, perhaps to even find a better understanding. This is a journey of a spiritual mind set and upon the still waters you are being lead to something very much the unknown. The person in the card is traveling towards a small light in the distance, he is leaving behind a time of stress and anxiety and headed for a more peaceful a harmonious time. This card indicates that the seeker is open to learning new and exciting experiences and may even travel, yet this type of travel is of a spiritual one, just don’t forget to learn from your past experiences and remember to focus on the way forward.

Reversed: As hard as you have tired, the seeker does not seem to be able to leave their troubles behind them. You may be feeling stuck and unable to navigate your way forward. The seeker need to face their difficulties and find a solution that will allow them to move forward. This card may also indicate that a journey of a higher level of consciousness is advised. Perhaps you need to look up and see what is going on around you that is causing you to stagnate so heavily. Perhaps you are too much in your head space and need to cut the ropes that are holding you back and making you feel like there is no escape.
