Banning Plastics

Banning Plastics

Our state is banning plastics

Straws and knives and forks

Foam cups/containers next in line

We're into banning talks

We led Australia years ago

By banning plastic bags

In supermarkets given out

(A diet for the shags)

We also led the nation

Many years ago

By giving money refunds

On empty bottles, so....

This current push we hope will

Encourage other states

To stop this spread, this plastic plague

Before it gets too late

Postscript

Other places banning plastics or in the process of

include France, Bali, EU countries, Canada,

India, California, Hawaii, New York

You are right MC. It's not always the product at fault but it's
'use and misuse'

Like a number of things met in this life, it's not always the product
itself that's harmful or threatening but its use and misuse. How easy
it is to identify with the feelings of wonder that must have greeted the
advent of plastic with its labour-saving convenience and wide-ranging potential.

Industrial revolution's just arrived here to help us
Giving plastic to make everything great
What's this? We'll regret that we made it?
Just take it folk, there's no debate......

I always request no straws.
Also...I just spent a week in Canada and they have a 3 bin system for all trash.
Plastic is the bane of our existance

We also recycle plastic into school benches. A great idea for dealing with soft plastics

We also invented the term 'selfie'. Which has nothing to do with recycling plastics....
