Hope Springs Eternal
Having firm conviction tho the day is bleak
Optimistic of attaining the Shangri-la you seek
Prayerful expectation of a rainbow-day
Envisioning tomorrow while it’s yet today

Good optimism Chrystel. Too many people are fearful of what the future might hold.
Keith,
'Hope....where is the origin of this source?'
I had the opportunity to meet a refugee who had fled into Zambia from the DRC. Apart from her life, she had lost literally everything -including her children who were brutally slain due to so-called Ethnic-cleansing.
That woman epitomized the resilience of the human spirit: the ability to retain hope in the most hopeless of situations.
In my opinion, hope is an intrinsic human quality which lends much credibility to belief in a Creator, as opposed to the Evolution theory.
Keith, Lisa and Vautaw, I appreciate your comments, guys!
Love this one Chrystel. ??
To live in the here and now is all that exist , it's the only real we have. Everything eles is either gone or not yet to happen.
Choosing to live in the moment is all we have to live for....
I enjoyed this remarkable piece. Well done ❤
Hope springs eternal in the human breast, but where is the origin of this source? I am always confounded by this. A good poem which merits much thought.
Thank you
Keith
Thank you, Don

Hope is often all we have left. Often it's only that vision of tomorrow that gets is through today. Love this.
