Grackles send signals

like waving a flag

birds of a feather

to a tossed Cheeto bag

 

Thrown down on the pavement

the word gets around

a party is starting

soon Grackles abound

 

Now arriving customers

must dodge the black birds

who whistle and clatter

in voices absurd

 

Whole flocks of them gather

who knows how it occurred

when one found the Cheetos

soon all of them heard.
