Donations are essential to keep Write Out Loud going

We're on the co-pay

every time he paves a park

burns down a lot

calls the cops on

children's songs

we get sent this bill

payable on delivery

his wife insists

he talk to someone

he only agreed

after certain conditions

were met–

he didn’t have to pay for it

he says he did it for her

in the helicopter

she suggested maybe

another museum

named after her

would make him happy

while he’s thinking about ways

to pour more concrete

over the landscape

but he can’t put his

finger on it not yet

she’d like him to

just be himself and relax

but he can’t

that’s why we’re on

the co-pay
