Little lizards grow
in garden patch
it looks like they have
just been hatched
When water sprays
they jump off fence
with change of hue
away they went
The heat is fine
in their defense
their droopy eyes
beg somnolence
Lizards remind us
in a sense
of Dinosaurs
they're evidence!

There are lots in our garden. Mainly water dragons and blue tongues Snakes too. Love them all. The big ones steal the dog food so we always feed our little dog inside.
