Where do I stand?
I am unable to understand
this hollow sky with a vast horizon
where do I find heaven?
this tiny soul on earth
lives with the constant fear of death,
not in a position to take an easy breath
as materialistic hunger loses the faith
life might have some purpose
but how to choose?
amidst confusion
and compulsion
it is not bad either
but conscious must awaken sans fear
it has a lot more to offer
as well as to bear too
is life only for merry-making?
or taking it for granted
that it will move smoothly
with everything made available easily
this is the common man's concept
and he pre-empts
with certain things keeping in mind
but finds self nowhere
