My Half-Life

I live in a world of things half-done

it keeps waking me up

on days when I have the energy

I can see what needs to happen

projects, boxes of things,

emails to be written

on days when the world

comes after me, I stay hidden

and dream of knocking it all to the ground

a child crying for forgiveness

I love the way you have rounded this one off Bob. I often feel quite child like about a number of things then realise that those people who I see as grown ups maybe at least as old as me or even younger.
Nice one

If you are reading my mind, I want you to sign a non-disclosure agreement!

Painful yet funny poem. Tolerant of our foibles, and thus hopeful!

Also good to read.
