The Poet's Grave

 

I wont lie in a poet's grave

Watch worms devour my rhyme

And age attack my active mind

(It does all else with time)

 

OK my lines might seem macabre

They face the facts of life

We all must end up in a grave

And face the afterlife

 

But did you get the message

I gave in my verse one?

Get everything you can from

Each day before you're done
