On different track

Friends are always welcome

we invite them at home

with folded hands

and maintain it till an end

 

friends are not made

it is not a trade

it has its own grade

and can never fade

 

childhood friends are always remembered

and offered with

greetings and well wishes

on good occasions

 

friends make an entry

with the blessings from an almighty

they are well intended

and also depended upon

 

it has a holy association

and shines in the field of human relation

the link becomes paramount

when everything is counted

 

It has no color, in fact,

no caste, creed or any reason to react

friendship remains intact

even if we are on the different track
