Jezabel, Confession from a Wonderland

entry picture

So you once asked me..... How can I look at you and think you perfect for me? How can I look past all your faults and mistakes? Without even asking questions on your imperfections. How you wish you could see yourself through my eyes so you can begin to enjoy living...

Well, This is my answer

Jezabel, Confessions from a Wonderland.

When I look at you my world begins to spin.
You keep me guessing,
like I'm stuck in a whirlwind.
Spinning all around,
how my world is upside down,
everytime you come close to me.
As I reach out for you,
Its not your faults that shine through
But your beautiful soul igniting the entire room.
Oh such wonder in your eyes,
You can light up my darkest nights
With even just your sweetest smile.
You even make me do these rhymes,
With these confessions on my mind,
About the things I think of you.
So forgive me for I have sinned,
I have wished we'd be more than friends.
As I kiss you gently on the lips,
Holding you close in my arms,
With not just cuddling going on,
But something a little more passionate.
How you drive me insane,
Like a bullet to the brain,
But my love for you keeps my heart beating.
Never feeling dead inside,
When you standing by my side,
Infact you brighten up my life everyday.
But How I long for you to feel the same,
Just a hint to clam my brain,
So I don't spiral out of control.
I do wish you could see yourself through my eyes,
A wild soul hard to describe,
But can only be felt when you touch my skin.
You do make this world a better place,
Bringing joy to my days,
Especially when it's me you loving too.
So this is my little truth,
This confession I confess to you,
You are beautiful and just utterly breath taking.
Even If you can't see it yourself.
Jezabel,
There are only faults in your own eyes,
Seeing yourself through your own mind,
but for me I see the truth.
Everytime I look at you,
My heart skips a beat or two,
Cause you don't see what I do.
So let me try to explain,
Raid my heart and my brain,
Letting you in a little deeper.
So hold on to me tightly with both hands,
As I take you down my wonderland,
Revealing the mysteries of my soul.
Opening my heart to let you know.
So where you see faults,
I see a heart of gold,
With a few imperfected prefect scars.
See, where you see flaws,
I see open doors,
With a potential for far greater than  you believe.
Where you see terrible things,
I see a soul filled with dreams,
Just waiting to break free.
Wanting to spread your wing,
Flying beyond your broken dreams,
Longing to be who knows you can be.
Yet bound by a life suffocating you.
but oh my darling dear,
You have nothing to fear,
You have more strength inside of you than you know.
If only you would trust in the words to my poem.
Take a chance on yourself,
You know you've walked through hell,
Only to come out of it the blazing fire.
Chaos flows through your veins,
Its what keeps you slightly sane,
All you need to do is master your mind.
There is a warrior inside of you,
You have heard their voices too,
Whispering wonders within your heart.
Reminding you of who you are.
Well that's what I see,
when I look at you through me,
And its incredibly exhilarating.
So if you up for an adventure?
Stick around a little longer?
Then my wonderland tour has only just begun.
Although my poem is near its ending
Yet the story is only just beginning
With hope you remain with me another lifetime.
As I leave my confessions with your soul to think about.

Thank you very much for your encouraging words. It's means the world to me to know that you like my work and that it moved you. I hope it just does the same for the girl I wrote it for.
