Things I Did While I Was Dead

entry picture

‘Things I Did While I Was Dead’ is the intriguing title of a new book by Rosie Garland (a.k.a. Rosie Lugosi), launched on 23rd February by Flapjack Press.

Powerfully articulating themes as diverse as relationships, serial-killers, and gender, this passionate and thought-provoking new collection showcases Rosie’s affecting and award-winning poetry; and, as with her previous collections under the guise of her alter-ego – Rosie Lugosi, it has a deliciously determined bite.

In her first performance of 2010, and following her successful fight against throat cancer, Rosie will perform at Manchester Central Library, supported by friends and fellow Flapjack poets – Gerry Potter, Dominic Berry, and Jackie Hagan.

The event starts at 1pm and there is no admission charge.
