Good Onya

I feel anxious when posting my poems

Cos they're not in WOL's normal genre

But my shadow quietly says with encouragement

Don't worry, just do it, and good onya

Agree with David about non-conformity. It's like being an eccentric...you don't call yourself an eccentric, nor do you work at being one. It happens naturally and it's what others call you, often without your knowledge.

Don, you are free to comment on others' work, but please consider whether your comments will detract from the piece you are commenting on. After all it is not all about you, it is about them. (I can say this as one who has been guilty of this in the past, and possibly still is on occasion.)

Well said, Ray and David.

The anxiety you feel is rather infectious Don. The conventions you profess to avoid are easily dispensed with when there is so little sensible content within the litany of words masquerading as poetry.but then you already know that as is evidenced by your unconventional approach to others work. This is a welcoming site and is vulnerable to infection. But hey don't worry. It's all fair game.
Have a nice day. Ray

I fight very hard to be a non-conformist Keith.

Don,

By not being part of WoL normal genre you have created your own identity and style. Be a non conformist. Be just who you are and write what you feel inspired to write.

Keith
