Does an age matter?
it may sometimes later
when we become really old
and feel the past as gold
what have we to cherish?
and finish
the day with memoirs
and bring back old affairs
the school teachers
and old friends as neighbors
it freshens the memory
so wonderful to remember daily
we hear the grandchildren's cry
and suddenly filled with joy
it all heartens
and makes the real heaven
if you have a sweet memory of departed wife?
oh so much to think of early life
those happy moments
and the condition at present
life is really a wonder
to spend in a happy mood later
we have a lot more to remember
as old age provides a glimmer
