The weather always changes

whether we like it or not

weather still rules

we used to watch for signs

animal behavior

red skies

the phase of the moon

is it hotter or colder

we watch temperatures rise

yet we dig out from record snow

the only certainty

is that we are uncertain

earth continues

through many climate cycles

we cycle on.
