Always start from the stretch
and try to catch
the time that has gone
for the want of remedial action
what have I done for intentional action?
of late, my conscious has revolted with the reaction
I must come up with an explanation
with the solid affirmation
one by one, they appear before the mind screen
friends spoke nothing when I was rudely seen
parent had kept mum when I disrespected
wife was visibly moved when I ignored her
yes, they owed my heart changed apology
with head down in the invisible presence of an almighty
I shall kneel down with an open heart
render with an open mind to be their close part
an apology not only waters down hatred
but firmly leads toward love and peace
"wrong done in the past " can be addressed
when an apology is earnestly rendered
