SIBLING SENTIMENT - a Saturday theme poem

They asked me..,.

"Have you missed her?"

I said "Who?"

They said "Your sister".

I said "Natch...just like a scratch -

A boil...or a blister!"

I hated my sister for years growing up. I would say she was ugly...turns out she and I look almost identical.

'Boil' what a word... not used that since I was plagued by them in the sixty's after we were 'Cloud seeded' over Norwich.

Me my Mum and Sister all were!

Your poem brought some home truths M.C.

Many a true word said in jest!

Fantastic bit of poetry.

Weird... 'Boil'. I just used that very word myself before seeing this on another comment...

You never hear anyone use it or even be afflicted with one these days!

Could it be?
You and she
Might have had
A disagree?

Maybe I read
Between lines wrong
Maybe you didn't
Get along?

I hesitate
To post comment
In case it is
Not straight, but bent

Then again
Could silly me
Simply misinterpret
Your poetry? 😎
