I pledge it

Whenever I look at the tricolors

my heart is filled with honor

when I see the flag flying

my internal conscience is shying

 

what had I pledged for the country?

in the name of an almighty,

what am I doing today?

putting all roadblocks on the way

 

In courts, I take oath in the name of God

In the parliament, I take an oath

I give promise to the bride

with honesty and confide

 

Why everything is done on falsehood?

why do we swear if we can't understand?

the real meaning behind such pledges

and later on cunningly, we manage

 

We pledge to tell lies for sure

we swear to cheat national treasure

we pledge to dump poor and downtrodden

how shall we make the nation a heaven?

 

Why blame others?

what do I offer?

I sell my votes, burn the public property

accept the bribe, offer the dishonesty

 

Judge by yourself

take out all evils from the shelf

show it openly and exhibit

people will openly side with you and greet
