I was sat on a step outside a Manchester City store,

Sheltering from the rain and a heavy downpour.

Just been to Greggs and a coffee cup in hand,

The benches were too wet for my bottom to land.

"You can't sit there and eat ,you are in the way!"

A man showed me his badge and said I couldn't stay.

Think he thought I was a beggar collecting in my cup,

At first,until I confidently stood up.

His attitude was rude and not very nice,

Classing me as homeless and addicted to spice.
