Forever Taught

Teachers who

truly love to teach

make children strong

their love to keep

Their words are echoed

so to speak

once lessons learned

forever reaped

Primary rules

engraved in time

remain forever

in young minds

And minds so molded

reach new heights

individually

provide insight

Though early years

are peril fraught

the worth of school

cannot be bought

Basics instilled

are ne're for naught

the lessons learned

forever taught.

When I was in school and hated it - most of my teachers were nice and influential. When I hated my teachers - most of the time school was easy and boring.

Education has no equivalent. Self-taught in poetry, group-minded when collectively protesting. Great topic.?

I enjoyed this poem. Because even though I hated school. I can't say there weren't a few teacher's that influenced my life. Or lessons that I will always remember.
