Insanity Comes Calling Part Two

Poetry reading surrealism art

coloured images silent thoughts

mirrored painting words reflect

Visitor pink flamingo outfit

begins her exercise workout

moving freely uncertain boundaries

Audience still watching listening

surprised but pleasantly amused

poetic verses delivered applauded

Crowd pleaser departs smiling

perhaps responding unconscious calling

we remain not knowing.

Paintings whispering secret poems might know

I was so pleased that Mark Sheeky had included our
W O L poetry to be put along side his surrealism art paintings.

When talking to him he said he had started writing poems before getting into art and some of them were hidden inside some of the art work.

Thanks for your comment Big Sal it means a lot

I once watched a play that an old friend starred in years ago, and I had gone with my school on a field trip to the theater.

I still remember how much pissing and moaning my classmates did leading up to those doors, and how much they talked and shared positive thoughts about it once they left.

Sometimes we never know until we try something new, or something tried and true.

Great follow-up Nigel.
