Naughtiness Unnoticed

Naughtiness Unnoticed

Preamble

I have been asked to write a poem on children.  Here is my contribution.

How can I write a poem

About a naughty boy ?

When I was good, so helpful

My mother's pride and joy

It seems I have inherited

My mother's be-nice genes

Transferred them to my daughters

No naughtiness have I seen

I coasted along quite nonchalantly

Naughtiness unaware

Until I saw my daughters in

The French Folies Bergere

The moral of my story

Is share life with your child

Take an interest in what they do

To stop them running wild

But some might see a life enhancer
In a girl choosing work as a sole pole dancer!
The singular version of those who were there
Performing on stage at the Folies Bergere.

Dancer at one five
Knocked Brian out cold so it seems
He dumbstruck poor boy

Where is his comment?
Still getting over bare bod?
He still dumbstruck boy

Oh dear...
