Monsoon wind

entry picture

I would whisper the wind

to tangle your locks

to tease your hair into a web

that entraps my thoughts

that entraps my  spoken wishes.

Let your hair be a  tapestry

of my words

words traced as your  mouth

is traced

while I whisper

those demands of you

I will lure your smile

with those fingered words

and let the Monsoon winds

whisper them back to me.

After your leaving

I will finger the hem

of your gown

and place my smile's cheek

against your memory.

..............(Dedicated to a woman far away...)

A poem of words weaved intricately which allows the reader to interpret and assimilate them according to his understanding of the poem. It also conjures but a different time and place. I enjoyed this poem and thank you.
