I'm sitting in Hillbillys

Wondering what to write

Looking for a paper

Not a one in sight

 

Why do I like my paper?

I'm trying to reverse

An article in prose

To one that rhymes (in verse)

 

Now this I find more challenging

Than making one from scratch

You're restricted to a palette

Of fewer words, a batch

 

It really does amaze me

What my mind can do

With nothing there to work on

Hang on.....I need the loo

 

I'm back now much relieved

As you can understand

My paper's near arriving

My pencil's back in hand

 

Hello? Here is my paper

Arrived, just on my lap

Hillbillys owner, thankyou

For paper, I can tap

 

The only news I see

That's worth rejoicing 'bout?

Tomorrow's sunny forecast

The rest is worthy-doubt

 

Oh well, it has been nice

In my favourite caff

Looking round and watching

People talk and laugh
