Not one for the guys

Sometimes it bugs me

to have to chain up my chest

to keep it under control

And a few days each month

I’m afraid to stand up

for fear of disaster below

The price to pay for having a way

to make two little humans

and call them my own

One of whom

will make the same complaints

once she is fully grown.

Thanks guys. Martin I think I had Hollie McNish's poetic approach to motherhood in mind in writing this.

Reality wrapped in a nicely put package of poetry. I like the lighthearted tone it took in dealing with -literally- life. Enjoyable read for sure.?

Obviously being a man I can never fully understand but I do know its not easy and you ladies have my sympathy for all that you go through with child birth and caring for children. Holly McNish has written and performed a wonderful poem about breast feeding which I can recommend.

Great poem Becky. Love your work

Nice one
