Drunk Fairy Grounded

Drunk Fairy Grounded

Preamble

Taken from a newspaper report

This chap he took a Ryanair

Flight to Krakow, Poland

There would've been no problem

'Xcept he's on a roll, and...

Fired up on the good stuff

Fired up rather well

He caused disturbance and surprise

When dressed as Tinkerbell

The police arrived to escort

Green-dress-and-fairy-wings

Off the plane (not 'llowed to fly)

Hey ring-a-ding-a-ding

Ryanair are calling for

Airport limit drinks

To stop more Tinkers, Robin Hoods?

From causing airplane jinx

Tinkerbell she would've been

Unimpressed with him

Disrupting aircraft passengers

To satisfy a whim

No. Readers of my verses

You'll definitely agree

That Tinkerbell would never sprinkle

Fairy dust on he

Now parents please don't read

This poem to your kids

They'll think Tinker's gone bonkers

And gone and hit the skids

Puts me in mind of cars I have seen in the not too distant past that display the words 'Powered by Fairy dust'

It all sounds a bit "airy-fairy" to me!
But these budget airlines get some strange customers.

Nah. Our we breed tough fairies here. Priscilla Queen of the Desert types. Heck. Ryanair don't fly here. Ask Anya.

Priscillas in full flight in hometown now - I will survive.....
