Oh Little Ant

Preamble

MC and Brian are to blame for this invasion of ants on the site. Refer M.C,s 'Insecticide' Wed 15 Aug

Oh no you can’t you little ant

Climb up my little toe

Yes you can rant for all you want

But up my toe you can’t-go

No you can’t you little ant

Climb up my little toe

To find a path up to my pant

No up my toe you can’t-go

Whimper whimper sobs little ant

What have I done to you?

Deserving cruel restrictions

Please don’t bid me adieu

This ditty could go on and on

And on, ad infinitum

To wrap it up, the ant gave up

And disappeared substratum

As Hugh and MC are
The little blighters everywhere
Causing great hoo hah

Even Graham on System
Watch is keeping eye-
Out on nasty variANTS
Which knock Systems goodbye

Now Brian I know you well
You hate to be left out
Gina will wait (she's by your gate)

Thankyou Graham you've solved my worries
Very quickly, very smart
Sounds like you were right on deck
Practising poetic art

Bit like firies at the station
Waiting for emergencies
You were ready at WOL Systems
Looking for ANT infecties

Golly gosh (or gosh golly ?)
I wondered where my skimpies went
Don't worry 'bout returning them
Cost too much to have 'em sent

What puzzles me about said ants
(One's you say were in my pants)
Wollongong FUN BUS not been
BUS (it's strange?) not even seen

What would we do with no poetic
License to spice up our lines?
We'd have to work with real life only
How boring Graham......?

Hello Don long time no see
I hear you calling after me
from your Aussie cattle station
enquiring about ant infestation.

As far as I know all is well
our corners swept clear as a bell
our poets shipshape and Bristol fashion
still write with guile pizzazz and passion.

The only thing that might be tainted
we had your old wagon newly painted
underneath the driver’s chair
guess just what was lying there?

A pair of combies....outback pants
riddled with Wollongong ants!
these little critters ain’t that funny
they usually colonize the dunny.

As your scimpies were infected
you may well need you arse injected
better still we’ll give you WOL first aid
I’ve got a giant can of Raid!

These ants are crawling everywhere
Is System ant-infected ?

It's making me go pant

Dear Don -
I have no wish to be thought as rude
But much prefer they didn't intrude,
High above where they should be
To come indoors and pester me.
Let them stay twenty feet below
In places where such ants should go
Instead of climbing up the wall
(Why don't they loose their grip and fall?)
So please excuse me if I say
I'd prefer them not to come this way! ?

Anticide, Insecticide
MC what have you done?
Ants they want to crawl round site
And have lotsa fun

You're scouring pad exterm-
ination's got them mad
They've all ganged up to haunt us
They think you are a cad

My little one now wants
To climb right up my pants
Revenging cousin carnage
I've just told it it can't

You'll notice MC that I
Don't scour-pad little ant
Despite his non-stop pestering
Pestering anty rant

I hope you'll watch my youtube
Clip of little ants
And next time have some sympathy
When they try up your pants
