Pissing Up The Wall

Pissing up the wall

“My missile is bigger than yours” said the idiot to the fool

Dangling their digits for all the world to see

Reminiscent of schoolboys competing

To see how far they could send their pee

Throwing threats and insults on twitter and giving it large

Who the fuck put these petulant children in charge

Putting the’ dick’ into dictators

While we sit back as mere spectators

Watching as the total nerd turds

Battle it out in a dangerous war of words

Ill chosen tweeting, wont see North Korea retreating

It will just escalate into a war of consequences unintended

Its time your playground reigns were ended

Send in Nanny Mcfee or Mary Poppins

Spit spot , let’s get rid of the lot

Lets end the era of the despot

Impeach and overthrow

The world needs to grow, not shrink into a world of anger, intolerance and hate

Or nuclear war will be its fate

Cos if we don’t end war.....

War will end us

It's funny to know that dumb ass Trump will forever take full responsibility for the US/NK meeting without ever paying dues to the South Korean delegation, government, his own government, or anyone else. Captain Dipshit over here and his own delusions will be the only thing remembered during this time. It's poems like this that prove people still care about the deteriorating situation the world finds itself in, and regardless of what his mindless supporters think - we all are better off without the orange fool on the button. Well done on this, I applaud any poetry that goes against the grain and succeeds beautifully in doing so.?

Very well said Christine! Definitely a good one for spoken word.
I reported that ‘my big red button’s bigger than your red button’ tweet to Twitter for inciting violence, just to see what they would do, which was nothing whatsoever, surprise, surprise.

For Nanny McPhee - how about Maggie Thatcher? And for
Mary Poppins - how about Theresa May?
Then there was that lady in Manila with all those shoes,
and the one from Argentina - for crying out loud (so to speak).
Just joshing - but behind the ambitious man (they say)
is invariably an ambitious woman.

Christine - I like the schoolboys comparison and it's terrifying to think what could have happened...still could.

The poem read a bit like a rap.

Embarrassingly Christine, I have to admit to being one of those naughty "little" boys who tried to beat the school record, albeit our toilets were outdoor so one's equipment was often climatically challenged.

Love this piece though. Bang on!
