The Wind Still Blows

The Wind Still Blows

We don´t know from where it comes

or to where it is destined

Its strength can never be measured

nor its path predicted

From a gentle breeze to sudden gusts

from the fury of a hurricane with its power to destroy

or as it tingles the senses on a summer´s day

Its origins are a mystery

but its power can be harnessed for the good

It comes freely with no invoice attached

in minutes it can sweep clean our land

We cannot see it

nor can we hear it

but it has a power which cannot be subverted

Ever present it is part of the natural world

something which we could not live without

The very climate is at its beck and call

as we watch with wonder and awe

We breathe it and feel it

but its property is to be invisible

yet visible and invisible together

A spiritual force upon the natural order

It is visible and invisible together.
A perfect description.
