Bitter Blossoms

These bitter blossoms thorns are sticking into me
These lacerations are getting too deep
Can you pour the salt in my wound
I'll rub it until it bleeds everywhere

These bitter blossoms thorns are sticking into me
Can you get me drunk
Where I'm only talking about her
For my friends can hate me some more

These bitter blossoms thorns are sticking into me
I think it's poison is soaking into my brain
The pus is collecting thoughts of death
So beautifully and desired does melancholy dream end with my desires

A really good poem capturing the pain of a shattered relationship.
