The Voyage to Death

The voyage that he decided to take
Has took its toll on his body
Desperately clinging for the hope of a future
That he wants so hopelessly it will not come

For she has forsaken him at his times of need
The sour taste in your mouth is ambiance
Is the curtains behind the mind so fragile and broken

Rest my dear boy rest for tomorrow
You're spill more of your own blood
On this crusade that you have against your life
You have pillaged and destroyed
The only hopes for love that you have on this voyage

A bleak poem that uses the language well. You say so much in a few lines.
