What to see!

What to see in you?

And what to forget?

I have no other way to pass through

And prove my self as true

 

Your eyes speak

And I feel ashamed and  weak

Even though, we can't remain together forever

But it causes unknown fear in mind

 

You used to tell on the face

Life is just a mad race

We developed an attachment

And cry later when one vacates the seat

 

Yes, you were not a philosopher

But knew its depth and uttered

"I shall be leaving soon"

As life has to face an end without any option

 

She made no secret of her desire

I looked at her face and silently admired

What a lady she was!

She spoke slowly and then paused

 

I cried for a moment

Why did you leave me at present?

What have I to do in your absence?

She did not answer but smiled at once
