Praying for an end to the Night

She asked herself what was wrong with her

More times than she could count

And each time the answer was the same

There was none...

Why did she feel so much?

Care too much

And love so much

Why?

So much

Yet nothing was ever enough

Nothing was ever right

Still... she tried not to forget

That it can't always be night

And she prayed that someday

Everything would be filled with light

Wardah, Thank you for this intimate poem with its contrast between the darkness of night and the coming of the day: with all that is harrowing in those dark hours. The title of the poem really caught my eye. Keith

Believe in yourself Wardah, you will see brilliant light break through the gloom of darkness because you deserve it.

Agony will turn to ecstasy. Be patient. This is the period of transition.
