Life Tests

Life Tests

Everyday, everyone is tested

From a house, to school, to outside

We will never be well rested

To be fully focused and abide

Since we can't really say no

As life falls like an endless rain

From a text to a tornado

Or a hello to a hurricane

While the choice being ours eternal

To be affected or effected so simple

To take it personal or general

And live life like a cycle or recycle.

Whether you are gifted or studious

Every test, everywhere is part of mankind

Because our own beliefs deem us dubious

Since we cannot truly, fully open our mind

Yet no matter how prepared or vulnerable

These tests will grant us gifts with each breath

Teaching us against or with our wills; memorable

Until ending with the last test from life to death.
