The times we could've had

The times we could've had would have made memories to last us forever.

Not to say the ones we have already are any less relevant.

But the times we could've had would have been the ones for the books.

The ones we shared with our kids.

The ones we reflect upon when our relationship gets rocky.

The ones that cross our mind mid-day while we're thousands of miles away.

The times we could've had would have been reflected upon our children, our mini-me's, our living images.

The times that are proof that nothing bad last forever and things can be overcome.

The times we should've had could have been our time to sit back and catch the little moments.

The moments that would have lasted a lifetime.
