Fight for redemption

Fight for redemption

Actions speak louder than words and I know the words "I'm sorry" do not serve any justice.

There's no one left to say them to anyways.

So then what is left?

Should I sit and feel sorry for myself?

Wonder what my life would have been like if i had known the whole truth.

Would that have even affected my actions or better yet how Baba acted?

Could thay have been the key to unlocking his love for me?

Maybe I should just stand up and face the music.

Fight to get my nephew. My blood. The missing piece to my puzzle of a family.

Or do the thing I am best at and run.

Although runnin hasn't served any valuable purpose in my life thus far.

I might as well own up to what I have done and finish what I have begun.

welcome to WoL DW. Your three poems presented here seem connected with an obvious back story which makes for intriguing reading. In a way you don't need to tell us further personal details as the mystery is what makes them all the more compelling. All the best, Colin.
