Pathetically Drawn

entry picture

Drawn little kite
Fly no where
Stuck on a page
White one, bare.

Lead infused kite
Why can't you move?
Is it hard bein' still?
Who made you, who?

Half erased kite
I can end your misery
By turning a pencil upside-down,
Little kite, be free!

It is so wonderful to hear another take on this piece, and I myself hadn't quite grasped the many meanings until later on after reading it a few more times. And that is an interesting thought, that a picture stays forever and that itself can be quite terrifying!

Brevity comes to the aid of anti - gravity - a clever and winning little poem. Kites are sad when only drawn!

great idea Michaela - creation, entrapment, power, freedom - some weighty stuff to ponder if one so chooses.

Thanks david! And also that you for introducing me to a new word 'brevity'!
