Unrequited Love

Te amo tanto que me duele
You didn't get that, did you?
But can't you see it in my face
a love that aches my very soul

Like Mars, ' I'll catch a grenade for ya!'
but you must be Venus...do you not see
it is my will I am stuck in love?

'Te
amo tanto que me duele!'
You gaze into my pupils and
seem oblivious to my
amor
God free me from this
dolor

unrequited love

Glad you liked it Colin. Dolor means pain in Spanish and I am pretty sure I spelled it right. Maybe it doesn't fit that well but I was trying to rhyme it with amor.

I love the mix of Spanish and English alongside Bruno Mars and Roman mythology.

I think the first two verses work really well but for me the third is less convincing perhaps because of the word 'dolor' which is rather an oddity. I'm not sure but it might be spelt 'dolour'. It's not a word I am familiar with.

all the best
Colin
