Holiday Makers

 

Out they come scantily dressed

and in no way remotely repressed

Determined they are to catch the sun

and this can include exposing the bum

 

Weeks before the men work out

and with a few beers begin to shout

Weeks before the women fought the flab

and now wear gear that is real fab

 

Legs are shaved and pedicures done 

just for a few weeks in the sun

Mutton appears dressed as lamb

as the children build a beach wig wam

 

Some prefer to lie in the shade

as others search in the hope of being laid

Many make a B line for the bar

and are glad not to have hired a car

 

Various shapes and sizes do appear

some with an enormous rear

Creams and oils are lavishly applied

as no crevice can afford to be denied

 

Energetic families go exploring

whilst the sensible do their snoring

In a pool of blue azure

do the rampant seek to allure

 

Night comes with bright lights to entice

when everyone wants their slice

Some freak out on the dance floor

whilst others eat their steaks very raw

 

Soon it is time for bed

most are now really quite red

Feeling hot, sweaty and sore

the over fed begin to snore
