Inspiration

Inspiration

From out of void and magical air

Thoughts and rhymes do occur

These moments of sublime inspiration

Come from heartfelt consolation

Yet at other times from consternation

When the soul suffers desolation

Deep within a movement stirs

Words and thoughts arrive in pairs

Passion and prose do soon compose

A poem from where no one knows

This source at times so abundant

Often runs dry and becomes redundant

Inspiration is all about

But needs imagination and clout

There is a deep well down within

A silent place free from din

Here the poet´s heart does beat

A storehouse with many a treat

A sublime and eloquent homage to the moment of lucid cohesion of heart, mind, and soul. The muse is strong in this one. Btw, i read your profile i thought you might like a quote i enjoy, though I feel you are well aware of it. "The opposite of bravery is not cowardice but conformity."
Robert Anthony
