Performance poet Trev Meaney will be delivering his commissioned poem about Manchester’s fabled Hacienda night club before a screening of a documentary about the club in London on Thursday 23 February.

Trev said: “I was lucky enough to be asked by the director Chris Hughes to be commissioned to do a poem for the documentary Do You Own the Dancefloor. I have performed the poem before the showing of the documentary at some fantastic venues. It has toured all over the UK, at Glastonbury, Leeds international film festival, as well as the Royal College of Music and Art among others.”

Door open for the screening of Do You Own the Dancefloor at the Curzon cinema in Soho at 6.45pm, and Trev will be performing his poem at 7pm.
