A Descending Depression

entry picture

a dense air

a blurred vision

a shrouded perspective

a clouded judgement

an engulfing chaos

my mind was a fog

a descending depression

Hi Col, thanks for your message. As always, I'm so grateful to you. Always constructive, always on the money!

I did do a Google search and you're right about the images. I actually decided to adopt for my profile pic the image I used for Levity, Brevity and Gravity. I don't know why, it just liked it. I don't know about you, but I often search endlessly for the right image for a piece I'm posting.

As regarding analysing minds on here, I honestly just try to take people at face value and I'm so fond of so many fellow poets on here. If I could only put into words how the past two months have transformed my life........to think I hadn't written a line in almost 20 years until I found my poems had vanished from our apartment in the UK in Dec! It's unbelievable.

Anyway, I'm wittering.....thanks again Col. I owe so much to you and others on here for helping me. Paul x

Paul, when I was searching for an image to go with my Dead of Ages poem I came across a couple that were similar to your profile pic. Search 'heaven and hell' in Google images and see if you can spot them. Made me wonder how you came across yours and whether being a retired clinical psychologist it held some further meaning. I'm sure you must have fun analysing our crazy mixed up minds here on WoL. I'm sure there are many of us that can relate to this poem. All the best, Col.
