Wendy Cope, Luke Wright, Zena Edwards and Francesca Beard are among the poets lined up for a four-day festival of poetry, comedy and storytelling at the Landmark Arts Centre in Teddington, south-west London. Landmark Stories, from 2-5 March, kicks off with Stand Up and Slam!, with poetry and comedy acts going head to head, and concludes with Afternoon Tea with Wendy Cope. The poetry team in Stand Up and Slam! Is captained by Dan Simpson. On Friday performance poets Zena Edwards and Francesca Beard will be on stage, with Luke Wright appearing with comedian Laurence Own on Saturday night. The festival, staged in a former church, is curated by poet Alison Hill and also includes several storytelling sessions. More details
