for love

Give me the sound of a thousand hearts beating

S t a g g e r r e d to make one thrum of knowledge

Of life.

Oh how I would love to melt you down

Like darkest chocolate, would you flow between my tongue

And the part of me that has no name

To mingle with spit and soul

Hold me until the light comes once more

◄ solo sei piedi di terra ci rende tutti uguali

everybody is talking but nobody is saying anything ►

Luxurious and tactile , a splendid seam of poetry mined by the finest of wordsmiths I know Stu.

Last two lines are incredibly effective in syphoning the previous ones down into a pinprick. Love it!

"the part of me that has no name" is where you really got me..that's the part that's the hardest reach...

and "thrum"--like throb and drum together--is a great word esp in the context.

I'm liking this, Stu. That line 'melt you down like darkest chocolate'... Perfect. ?
