Fidel Castro - R.I.P.

entry picture

If you need a dictator I’m your main man

I will serve my people the best that I can

All I ever wanted was to set Cubans free

One of the best friends that I ever had

Che Guevara a soldier and brother in arms

When they executed you hombre I was sad

If you want a revolution go to war with me

I will fight to the bitter end just you see

I’m not afraid of the weak imperialist west

You want to blockade us we won’t crumble

Our people are proud and very resourceful

We don’t live by the law of the jungle

Bay of Pigs in 1961 you miserably failed

Missile crisis in 1962 Cuba prevailed

I am the super hero of the revolution

It was never going to be a bed of roses

Over 600 times you planned my demise

I almost walk on water courtesy of Moses

My time has come and I will fall

But the might of Cuba will stand tall

Anybody with heart and spirit can fight

Don’t be a prisoner under lock and key

Fight for your country until your last breath

If you want to hold on to your destiny

The people are swaying to a salsa beat

Its fiesta time in the Caribbean heat

Brothers and sisters with passion and fire

All I wanted to do was set my people free

Havana your sun will continue to brightly shine

Viva Cuba adios amigos I leave you my legacy
